Jody Scheckter signed for Walter Wolf Racing Team for 1977. Surprisingly winning his first Grand Prix for them in Argentina and going on to win the prestigious Monaco race, followed by a famous home win in Canada; a season which gave him second place in the World Championship, at the wheel of the single entry of the last true private-entrant in Formula One.
