with slightly flaring foot and neck, two mythical dogs applied to the neck their front paws grasping a raised band decorated with stylised flowerheads, above a wavy band moulded with archaic motifs -- 8in. (20cm.) high, 18th/19th Century, (gilt rubbing and wear).
