Cf. The example sold in these Rooms, 8th April 1999, lot 271., see also Geoffrey A. Godden, The Encyclopaedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks (1986 reissue), p. 736, no. 4515.

The mark would appear to be that of Wittman & Roth, importers and wholesalers in the 1880's.
