專家說明
Liliana Porter's oeuvre deals with illustion and reality. The paintings and photographs tease the eye and the mind by incorporating assemblage and highly realistic depiction of objects and toys. Inspired by the writings of Lewis Caroll, her work is deceivingly playful, dealing with issues of representation and self-reflection. In fact, the mirror in the painting El Libro Azul, 1995, appears as a symbolic invitation to participate in the game of illusion.
