The rectangular case with black enameled sides and cover, enhanced by single, circular and old European-cut diamond geometric trim, with sculpted buff-top calibré-cut ruby and amethyst blooming flowers centering upon similarly-set sapphire, onyx or ruby pistils, extending black enameled stems with buff-top calibré-cut emerald leaves, the rose-cut diamond pushpiece opening to reveal a fitted mirror, lipstick holder and two hidden compartments, the reverse and interior enameled in a similar motif, mounted in 18k white gold, circa 1925, 3 x 1 5/8 x ½ ins., with French assay marks and maker's marks
