專家說明

A similarly inscribed and dated oviform teacaddy and cover from this service is in the collection formed by the late Lady Binning, now the property of the National Trust at Fenton House, Hampstead.

No explanation has as yet been found for this mark and date. It is probable that there was a complete service.
