專家說明

First modelled late in 1755, this is one of the rarest figures from the series of Street Vendors. Probably only one other example with contemporary coloured decoration has survived. See Friedrich Hofmann, Geschichte der Porzellan-Manufaktur Nymphenburg (Leipzig, 1923), Vol. I. p. 129 for a similar example. For a fish-seller and egg-seller from the same series, see Alfred Ziffer, Nymphenburger Porzellan, Sammlung Bäuml, Schloss Nymphenburg Catalogue, Munich (Stuttgart, 1997), p. 40, nos. 50 and 51.
