Pear-shaped with moulded borders and straight part-wood handle, the hinged slightly domed cover with scroll thumbpiece and baluster finial, the side engraved with two English crests and motto, marked on base and cover, maker's mark on base overstruck by that of LAMBERT, the base also stamped with retailer's mark 'Lambert Coventry St.'
