專家說明

Probably made for Mr. Fenwick, chief supercargo of the EastIndiaman Marlborough, which reached Canton in 1716 only after his diplomatic negotiations with the Chinese, who had had trouble with a Company ship the season before. See D.S. Howard, Chinese Armorial Porcelain, p. 188
