專家說明

See John C. Austin, British Delft at Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Virginia, p. 277, no. 683 for a tile painted with this subject and a mention that this subject only appears on English tiles unlike the majority of Biblical tiles which are based on Dutch examples. For a basket painted with this subject and date 1698 see Anthony Ray, English Delftware Tiles, London, 1973 p. 118, no. 32.; and Jonathan Horne, English Tinglazed Tiles, London, 1989, p. 80, fig. XVI
