QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-95)
The horse is tethered to a post and stands four-square on a rocky, rectangular base before a crouching monkey holding a whisk. The stone is pale celadon in tone with grey-flecked areas.
4¾ in. (12 cm.) long

Private UK Collection acquired in Hong Kong in the 1950s.
With Jade House, purchased 24 June 1957.
