Glazed with dark brown slip, the broad hemispherical body on a low foot, the circular upper surface with concentric rings, a flaring nozzle fill-hole along the edge, opposing a projecting head of a dog, with erect ears and a long muzzle, its open mouth serving as the vessel spout, the fur incised, wearing a collar with a ring pendant, the vessel handle a ribbed strap joined to the back of the dog's neck
