Grand Duke George Mikhailovich

The artist Mikhail Mizernyuk, was most famous for his portrait sketches of Russian military heroes during the early twentieth century. Among these heroes are General Mikhail Aleksyeev (1857-1918), Commander Nikolai Yudenich (1862-1933) and Grand Duke George Mikhailovich (1863-1919), all of whom served in the Imperial Russian army during the First World War.
