Blue morocco gilt, the covers elaborately gold tooled add with inlaid designs, front cover with central panel of painted silk with carved relief of a ship mounted, outer border a twisted-rope design, with elaborate interwoven ropework at the corners, incorporating gilt-lettered quotation "In mist or cloud on mast or shroud it perched for vespers nine /whiles all the night through fogsmoke white /glimmer'd the white moonshine," the rear cover with filet borders, watered-silk linings, edges gilt, by Bumpus (spine lightly faded, a few small chips along front joint and at corners, front silk lining with short separation); quarter morocco folding case.
