專家說明

Discontinued in early 2024, the Patek Philippe Nautilus Reference 5980/1R-001 is one of Patek Philippe’s most desirable complicated Nautilus models. Crafted in 18k rose gold, it is fitted with a beautiful black dial with rose gold hour markers, giving it a rich and distinctly luxurious appearance. At its core beats the self-winding calibre CH 28-520 C, which has a 55-hour power reserve. The chronograph stands out for its inventive and useful mono-counter at six o'clock, which combines a 12-hour and 60-minute display into a single 'bull's eye' register for maximum legibility.

The present timepiece is consigned by an important private collector, whose focus has been devoted to modern Patek Philippe timepieces of exceptional quality and refinement.

Reference 5980
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Gerald Genta's renowned Patek Philippe Nautilus Reference 3700⁄1, the Patek Philippe Nautilus Reference 5980 was introduced at the Basel Fair in 2006. It was a significant milestone as the first chronograph ever added to the Nautilus collection, blending a sporty complication into the iconic porthole-shaped case.

Introduced in 2013, the pink gold version of reference 5980, such as the present timepiece, is powered solely by Patek Philippe's proprietary chronograph calibre 28-520 C. The 5980 continues to be one of the most alluring and collectible contemporary Nautilus references thanks to its striking appearance, exquisite finishing, and technical sophistication.
